أول كتاب أطفال لأوباما في الأسواق
طرح الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما أول كتاب أطفال من تأليفه في المكتبات امس الثلاثاء، والذي ألقى فيه الضوء على أيام عمله السياسي والاقتصادي بأسلوب خفيف ومرح.
يتضمن الكتاب الجديد، الذي يحمل عنوان «أوف ذي آي سينج» «عنك أغني» ويستهدف الأطفال في سن الثلاثة أعوام فأكثر، صورة مرسومة لابنتيه ساشا (9 أعوام) وماليا (12 عاما)، وهما تخطيان بخطى واسعة عبر الحديقة بصحبة كلبهما المائي البرتغالي «بو»، وهو كلب مشهور يظهر غالبا في صور طفلتي البيت الأبيض.
ألف أوباما كتابه الجديد، الذي أهداه إلى زوجته ميشيل، في صورة رسالة مرحة إلى طفلتيه، يخبرهما فيها عن 13 شخصية أميركية «رائدة»، حسبما أظهرت مراجعات سابقة للكتاب.
ومن بين هذه الشخصيات «الرائدة» الفنانة جورجيا أوكيفي والعالم ألبرت اينشتاين ولاعب كرة السلة جاكي روبنسون.
حقق الكتابان السابقان لأوباما، وهما «دريمز فروم ماي فاذر» (أحلام من أبي) و«أوداسيتي أوف هوب» (جرأة الأمل)، أفضل المبيعات، حيث جنى منهما أرباحا تزيد على 5 ملايين دولار.
ومن المقرر تخصيص عائدات بيع الكتاب الجديد لإنشاء صندوق منح دراسية لأطفال جنود الجيش الذين قتلوا أو أصيبوا بإعاقات.
يذكر أن حزب أوباما، وهو الحزب الديموقراطي، مني بالهزيمة في انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس الأميركي التي أجريت في وقت سابق الشهر الجاري، في الوقت الذي يسعى فيه الرئيس الأميركي جاهدا لتنشيط الاقتصاد الأميركي وإنهاء حربين.

Obama says new consumer law is strongest in history. The president said he's already started explaining the basic concepts of money, savings and interest to his daughters, Malia, 12, and Sasha, 9. He says they're almost old enough where they may be able to "earn some money babysitting," and that they have their own savings accounts.
